OA Framework
Introduction
Oracle Application Framework (OA Framework or OAF) is an exclusive framework developed by Oracle Corporation for application development. The framework is also open to customers for customizations, personalizations and custom application development. The OA Framework is a MVC framework developed using J2EE technologies. Oracle Application Framework is an architecture for making online front end pages and J2EE kind of applications within the Oracle EBS ERP platform. So that, to Retain and develop OAF efficiency, Oracle’s JDeveloper tool can be used. OAF is based on J2EE technology called BC4J. As per the MVC architecture, in OAF, the XML Page forms the View, the java-based operator type forms the operator as well as the Application Module in addition to View Items and Schema Objects forms the Model.
